The name Palo Santo translates to "Holy Wood" in Spanish, reflecting its mystical origins along the coast of South America.
To harness the benefits of your smudge wand, ignite it using a candle, match, or lighter. Hold it at a 45-degree angle, pointing the tip toward the flame. Allow it to burn for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, then blow it out and let the ember continue to glow. As you walk through your workspace, home, car, bathroom, or any area in need of energetic cleansing, guide the incense smoke into every corner while articulating your intentions—whether out loud or in silence. The rich, enveloping fragrance will bring a sense of peace, clarity, and positive energy to your space. When you're done, place the wand in a fireproof bowl of metal, glass, or clay.
